DJ Nate was such a pleasure to work with throughout our whole wedding planning process! Our ceremony and reception were amazing and we give a huge amount of credit to him and his team. From the start, he let us organize the playlists how we wanted, and elaborated them based on our taste. Our wedding crowd liked to party and he was a perfect fit in choosing songs that kept everyone on the dancefloor the entire evening. Not only did he provide us with great music and entertainment, but he also emceed a Newlywed game for us during our dinner. I highly recommend choosing Nate for anyone looking for a DJ. Wow! Nate and his team blew it out of the park! It was so easy working with Nate throughout the journey of our wedding. We had to postpone our wedding 3 weeks before it was suppose to happen in 2021 and Without hesitation Nate reassured us that he would still be there for us no matter what! I don’t even know where to begin. Nate was absolutely WONDERFUL from the start. When we first booked Nate he was all in and ready to help us in any way possible. We don’t live on the island so we were planning from afar. He gave us recommendations, ideas, options and was always ready to respond quickly. The process of planning the music for the wedding was so fun and easy with Nate! He has an amazing app where you can plan and pick every single song for every single moment. This made it so stress free! Then, on the wedding day we were blown away! Nate is not only the friendliest person, but he also is a BLAST! He timed every single part perfectly. He kept the guests interested the entire time, and during the reception our guests stayed on the dance floor until the night ended.

Aloha! Thanks for visiting my website. I'm DJ Nate Burgoyne. Born in Hawaii, lived in California, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, Chicago, Connecticut, Spain, England, Taiwan, and have traveled  tons. As an open format DJ, my travels have opened me up to so many genres of music.
I'm a lover of super spicy foods, spearfishing, skating, playing with my kids, chilling with my wife, cooking, playing games, and rocking dance floors.
I'm the founder of the Frobaby Productions DJ team here in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. I will travel to DJ on other islands, mainland USA, and out of country.
People often ask what my favorite genre of music is. I really don't have a favorite genre because the way I express myself as a DJ is through what is created on the dance floor. Whatever music is resonating with the guests at the moment...that's my favorite genre. I can say that I really love disco/funk, 90's/00's hip hop throwbacks, basslines from Bay Area tracks, Latin, Indian/Punjabi, world music, retro alternative rock, and EDM. I work very closely with all of my clients and have a unique process of music planning that ensures I hit the vibe the they are looking for. I never play the same set twice. I don't have go-to playlists for every event. Every celebration is a one-of-a-kind rager.
I prefer to mix on turntables. There's something magical about a needle on a record that gives me a tactile connection with the music and adds a live performance element for the guests. When guests can see  me mixing music, scratching in songs, backspinning the vinyl, and nudging the records to match the beats, they quickly connect with me and the music.
My time on the microphone is minimal at events. I just say what's necessary. After all, the guests didn't come to hear my voice. They came for a dance party.
